Botox is a neurotoxin designed to temporarily make moderate to severe frown lines, crow's feet, and forehead lines look better. Botox targets the underlying cause of frown lines, crow's feet, and forehead lines - the repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, smiling, and raising the eyebrows. These muscles are injected with Botox to temporarily reduce muscle activity and temporarily improve the look of these lines.   

You may start to notice results within 24 to 48 hours of your appointment, but it takes up to 14 days to see full effects of Botox. Results typically last up to 4 months, but results differ from patient to patient. Your provider will guide you on how often to come in for treatments depending on your individual needs.
