Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive device for fractional coagulation of subcutaneous tissue. This device combines microneedle with radiofrequency to treat multiple skin concerns. Micro needling treatments helps to induce collagen production to increase the elasticity and firmness of the skin. Radiofrequency energy tightens the skin and breaks down fat cells. Morpheus8 microneedling can address a variety of skin concerns including texture, fine lines, acne scars and more on the face, as well as loose skin, stretch marks, scars and more on the body! This treatment does require a consultation with our Nurse Practitioner at our Lake Havasu City location to ensure you are a good candidate for Morpheus8.

How long can I expect to be at my appointment?

This procedure requires numbing to be applied for 45 minutes to an hour prior to treatment. Once numbed, the treatment is about 45 minutes.

What is the downtime for this procedure?

Downtime is very minimal with some redness and a mild sunburn look for around 2-3 days.

How many treatments will I need?

A series of 3 treatments is recommended with 4 weeks in between each treatment. Maintenance treatments may be needed 1-2 times per year after your initial treatment series.

What does the pre and post care require?

Pre treatment instructions include:

No sun exposure for at least 2 weeks prior to your treatment (winter is a great time for this procedure).
We have plant based exosomes available for purchase for pre and post treatment. This is completely optional, but does an excellent job at prepping the skin and helping to facilitate the healing process.
Discontinue any blood thinners such as aspirin 7-10 days before your treatment, ONLY if you are medically able to.

Post treatment instructions include:

No sun exposure for at least 2 weeks after your treatment (winter is a great time for this procedure).
Keep your skin clean and moisturized following this procedure. Plant based exosomes are also available for purchase to facilitate the healing process (these are completely optional).
Once all broken skin has healed, usually about 2-3 days post procedure, apply sunscreen everyday before going outside and reapply throughout the day.
Continue with your normal skin care routine once your skin is healed.
